Global Classroom: Dominican Cuisine Cooking Class

Welcome! We are so happy that you are interested in being a part of Dorcas International's Global Classroom Experience.

These classes are instructed by passionate, local community members who are well-known for sharing their great talents, traditions, and cultures here in Rhode Island! 

 

Register for the Dominican Cuisine Cooking Class! 

Chef Carlos Zorrilla, from the Dominican Republic, has been cooking professionally since he was 16. After graduating from culinary school, he worked at the family business which included catering for events in the Dominican Republic. In this class, you will learn how to make popular Domincan dishes and specialty desserts, such as pudin de pan, tres leches, and flan.

When: Saturday, April 11 or Saturday, April 18

Tiime: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Where: Dorcas International – South Campus (645 Elmwood Ave., Providence RI 02907)

Cost: $40 for one class or $70 for two classes

No prior experience necessary!
